One of the best authentic restaurants I've had in awhile! Definitely worth it. Fast friendly and not far of a drive. Definitely will take the family so that they can get a taste.
First time here, restaurant is clean and ordering at the counter was quick and easy. Menu is not overly crowded and seems like all the classics are on there. Ordered the chicken enchilada plate with red sauce. Sat at a booth, lots of room with mostly working folks taking their lunch break. Ambiance is a high 7, everything is clean and there is lots of room for bigger parties. My order came out quickly, delivered by a pleasant server and a "provécho" nod. Food was hot and the first bite of the enchiladas was a 10-star experience! What a killer, homemade, flavorful red sauce! The taste was unexpectedly stellar and the chicken/cheese accompaniment, with lettuce and tomatoes on the side, rendered me beyond content! I confess, this was my third straight day looking for a good place for enchiladas during my lunch break and I know now that this is the right place. The chicken enchilada portion size was huge, with a surprising amount of very good quality breast meat. There's a nice covered patio outside and more menu items for me to explore on my next visit, which are assured. I'll need to spread the word amongst my office co-workers and bring them along next time! Ps. Easy on the wallet!
Food I has good taste and service is great. Carrot cake is delicious! Perfect place for a Mexican style meal.
Haven't been here in years because I always thought the tacos were just okay. Came back today and idk what they changed but the tacos were 10/10! Definitely will be coming back now! I never do Yelp reviews but I just had to this time.
The food was amazing. I tried the tacos Pastor and Asada (fajita) and they were a 10/10. Came on thanksgiving night and they were open. Service was fast and friendly! Tacos were BOMB!! and fries were a 5/10, pretty average fries. Ambiance is very texmex and a couple of arcade games here. Im from kansas city and i definitely recommend this place.
